Happy Spiritual Care (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it. We aim to follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
- Information you choose to send us by email, the booking form or the contact form, such as your name, email address, preferred times, time zone and a short message.
- Your email address if you sign up for occasional newsletters.
- Basic, non-identifying technical information that our hosting provider may log, such as browser type and pages visited.
How the website forms work
Our booking, contact and newsletter forms do not store information on this website. When you submit one, your own email app opens with a message addressed to hello@happyspiritualcare.com, and nothing is sent until you press send.
Why we use it
We use your information only to reply to you, arrange and hold consultations, and, if you asked for it, send occasional newsletters. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Please do not send sensitive details by email
Email is not fully secure. Please keep personal, health or other sensitive details for your session rather than writing them in an email or form.
Session notes
If brief notes are kept to support continuity of care, they are kept to a minimum, stored securely and not shared without your consent, except where disclosure is required by law.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it securely.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from newsletters at any time, by emailing hello@happyspiritualcare.com.
Third-party services
Sessions are held on a video platform, and email is handled by our email provider. These services have their own privacy policies. Links to Google, Instagram and other sites are governed by those sites' policies.
